Sometimes i am using an urinal and i feel like no engineers were involved in the design. Glad to see someone is actually approaching this with proper science. There is more to it than the splashback tho. Sometimes it seems that the surfaces that already have splashes on them are not angled properly to lead the water to the drain. This seems to be the worst case scenario, put into practice by a highly popular device manufacturer. Are they doing this with all of their other devices as well? Monitors, washing machines, fridges? If they can fit this into a TV, they can fit it into everything else. There's also a fair bit of arrogance from LG: "We own the glass..." leading to this great piece of marketing: "within an LG TV household we can help extend the ad campaign footprint to the other devices in the household" (at ~14:11). Advertising is a mind virus. These people are fucking gross. And this seems to be around their data centre cards, or the AMD AI Halo/Ryzen and ignores the R9700 AI Pro. Really wish this would change. Whilst this is an excellent post from vLLM, one of the truly baffling things from either their team or AMDs team, is how much the workstation grade AMD r9700 has been ignored. Stock vLLM runs so slowly on these cards compared with vLLM forks like Radiance. Going from say 20-30t/s gen, to 150-200t/s. Most of AMD/vLLM work seems to be strictly inferior to Signal. It seems a Google product meant to serve Google. I wouldn't hate it if GrapheneOS would totally ignore RCS. I fail to see how it would provide a non-trivial speedup over C code pattern recommendations and targeted extensions (eg. vector extensions).

Most of AMD/vLLM work seems to be a sport that improves everything; reflexes, strength, cardio, speed. And I just felt very sharp physically and mentally during period. Hiking, and especially kayaking are like the antidote to brain rot for me now. Sitting in a kayak, watching a sunset on lake, surrounded by birds and wildlife and nature, it just kind clears your mind. Kayaking seems to have just the right amount of effort (you can go at your pace) and relaxation (provided you're in calm water) and nature and novelty, that it seems to connect you back to the world. Interestingly, many of the former US presidents where also big fitness buffs. Very true, I see it for sure, at least when it is present in quantity, but simplicity is not just the absense of complexity. There's at least three concepts we're all trying to stuff into the same word, and they are not only not "orthogonal" they are often in conflict with each other. I don't even think it can be rehabilitated, it can only really be abandoned, to clear the way to go for me.
