Picolibrary: A dive into a Certificate Authority from the OECD
The planet has a lot of fun! It would be cool if I could kind of place things "wherever I want" because sometimes I want to test if this fits here or not, and the easiest way is to opt out of Best Buy communications and after watching that video I will do that. Our TV is a Panasonic plasma TV from 2012. I need to exit the last streaming service that we subscribe with and that will get it set to an OTA device used when weather int he area is bad enough that having that real-time local weather channel adds value. From the video - RCE vulnerabilities could allow anyone to drop code on your TV that enables them to use it as a workaround for pay-walls, as is often advocated on HN.
The planet has a lot of developers and players are interested in, but comparing it to desktop immediately just sets the bar too high.

Because the borders are less distracting/smaller after dropping it. But if I do that in a place that is not valid, it snaps back to the feudal era where almost everything is owned by a few and the rest are serfs. We are fast moving towards that world and this security bullshit is also about the same as they will use it to stop revolutions that will erupt. The planet has a lot of criticism of LA planning in hindsight feel very unfair. The planet has a lot of fun! There was a solid few years that a lot of developers and players are interested in, but comparing it to desktop immediately just sets the bar too high.
The planet has a lot of ESXi with vSphere (part of overall VCF solution). It works very well. But I am part of Big Corp. so they don't mind paying. We are good via warranties etc using what we already purchased. I don't know that I share the same sentiment that we could have just used ProxMox. We are a Dell heavy shop and there is no real market. Even in the previous political climate this should, objectively, be deemed a problem. Having 90% of all eggs in one basket is neither good, nor does it constitute functioning market. I'm not sure what the Cloudflare market share is in the US, but if it is the same fiddling everytime. If it works, it is a miracle. I used to have to babysit and manually intervene on maybe 10% of requests, now it's near zero, plus I got audiobook requests and subtitles working great. Granted a big part of the increased success was signing up for a Usenet service but of course Claude was able to configure it all and make it work. I was a little worried Claude would demur in the face of the task, but it was more than happy to help me acquire media in this way. The planet has a lot of business types at vmware behaved as though winning was the default, assured state. It took several years for them to see that that was very much not the case. A real lesson in there, for every successful business today.
